SETSUKA (雪華 / 切華) carries two poetic meanings: “snow blossom” and “severed flower”, a metaphor for beauty blooming through the fracture. This eleventh collection marks the debut of ELENA NGN’s highest fashion line, where technical mastery, luxurious materials, and a sharply refined aesthetic converge.
At the heart of the collection is the image of a katana piercing through snow and giving rise to bloom: the SETSUKA flower. It symbolizes rebirth from ice, a blossom as both shield and soul for the modern samurai. The trace of blood stylized into an emblematic motif, speaks of sacrifice and renewal – a silent echo of battles endured.
The collection also introduces a wave motif inspired by traditional Japanese seigaiha, reimagined through the sharp geometry of the Eiko typeface (a signature of ELENA NGN), and interwoven with the brand’s distinctive blood-trace pattern.
While honoring the signature ten-petal logo, the collection reinterprets its form through elements of metal, frost, and blade. It’s creating a visual language that is cold, resilient, yet inherently graceful. SETSUKA is a dialogue between armor and flower, between blood and snow, and between pain and beauty. A declaration of the warrior’s quiet strength and inner elegance.
